Swiss Roll

Ingredients:-

  1. 40 Gm of flour
  2. 1/3 teaspoon of baking powder
  3. 40 Gm of sugar
  4. 2 nos. of eggs
  5. Vanilla essence to taste
  6. 50 Gm of jam

Preparation method:-

  • Sieve flour with baking powder in a bowl
  • Break eggs one by one in a bowl and add vanilla essence
  • Start beating with a clean beater and adding sugar little at a time and continue beating till egg gets double in size
  • Slowly mix the flour in it using cut & fold method with the help of knife or offset
  • Transfer the mixture into half kg cake try and bake at 150C for 10-15 min. till you get a golden brown.
  • Remove and cool on a cooling rack apply jam on all sides. Put coconut powder on top side and roll and cut into equal size and garnish with some cherries.
