Malai Chicken Tikka

Double Cream ¼

Yoghurt 1

Corn Flour 1

Amul Cheese grated 2

Green Chillies minced 10
Green Coriander minced ¼

Garnish
Onion rings, Green Coriander Chutney, Lemon
METHOD
- Wash, drain and dry the tikkas, mix all ingredients of marinade 1 and put the tikkas in this and leave aside for half an hour.
- Beat the cream and cheese together and mix it yoghurt and corn flour to make a smooth marinade.
- Add rest of ingredients of marinade 2 to the above and pour this over the tikkas.
- Mix well and leave aside for six hours and put it into refrigerator for 15 min. before cooking.
- Oil and wipe the skewers, skewer the tikkas and put skewers into tandoor cook for ten minutes.
- Remove and stand upright against the tandoor to let the drippings fall for about five minutes.
- Baste (by basting technique) and put the skewers back into tandoor for ten minutes
- When ready, garnish and serve.
