Simple Cookies/ Biscuits
Ingredients:-
- 150 Gm of refined flour
- 100 Gm of fat/ shortning
- 50 Gm of sugar/ sugar powder
- 2.5 Gm of Baking
Powder
- 2.5 Gm of Sodium-Bi-Carbonate
- 5 Ml of Oil
- 1 pinch of color (optional)
- 2 Gm of salt
- 5 Ml of Vanilla Essence
- 2.5 Ml of biscuit essence
Preparation method:-
- Sieve flour, baking soda, sodium-bi- carbonate, salt and
keep aside.
- Take shortning/ fat & put it on working table scrub and
start creaming it by pressing throw the palm or finger if in a large amount can
be use whisker.
- Cream in circular motion of clock wise in one direction at
least 10 min start add powder sugar in it little at a time till absorb while
continuing in a circular motion till the cream get smooth in consistency.
- Add vanilla essence, biscuit essence & color then mix start
adding sieved flour little at a time.
- With help of scrapper collect the mixture and prepare smooth
dough, roll out in a ball shape & wraped it with plastic wrape, keep in the
refrigerator for 15-20 min
- Remove from refrigerator dust the flour on working table and
roll out dough with help of rolling pin in 2 mm thick size and cut with cutter
or knife.
- Grease the tin with fat /oil and put it into baking tray,
preheat the oven 180C and bake the biscuits for at least 10-15 min till light
brown.
- Remove and get it cool and use as required.
