PUFF PATTY

Ingredients


Flour                                  500 g
Salt                                     7.5 g

Fat                                      250 g
Oil                                     25 ml
Cold Water                   As required

METHOD

  • Mix flour, oil, salt and add water as req. to make soft dough.
  • Rest it for 10-15 min or refrigerate for 10-15 min for in perfect consistency.
  • Take out and roll the dough in a square or rectangular shape now take some fat or butter and put it on the dough (more than half part not on full).
  • Fold the dough into half and again take some fat and put it on dough (more than half part not on full) and fold it again. This folding of dough is said Book Fold.
  • Repeat it 3 times this fold process and then rest it for 10-15 min.
  • After resting, roll the dough in square or rectangular shape add small square pocket, add some potatoes (masala) or any filling of your choice.
  • Take some water to close the pocket from top to bottom remaining the sides open (patty shape) do it with all.
  • When it done, take a baking tray and bake for 20-25 min at 180 degree C.
  • Serve Hot.
