PASTRY CREAM

Ingredients

Milk                                                       500 ml
Sugar                                                     120 g

Egg yolk                                                120 g
Butter                                                      50 g
Vanilla essence                                         3 g
Cornstarch                                                7 g         

METHOD

  • Boil together milk, half of sugar, vanilla essence & butter
  • Wisk together egg yolk, half remaining sugar & corn starch
  • Temper milk into egg yolk, boil & cook for 3-4 min.
  • Spread, cool & wrap with plastic sheet.
