How to make Aloo Stuffed Paratha?

Aloo Stuffed Paratha

Ingredients


For Filling

Boiled Potatoes                                                  2 Large
Red Chilli Powder                                             1 tsp
Green Chilli Chopped                                        2 No
Green Coriander Fine Chopped                        ¼ cup
Ginger Garlic Paste                                           1 tbsp
Onion Fine Chopped                                        ¼ cup
Salt                                                                    to taste

For Paratha

Dough Ball                                                      40-50 gm
Potato Mixture Ball                                         60-70 gm
Oil                                                                   for Shallow Fry


For Dough

Whole Wheat Flour                                        2 cup
Warm Water                                                   as required
Salt                                                                 to taste
Oil                                                                  2 tbsp

Method

For Dough

  • Take a bowl add wheat flour add salt make a well add a luck warm water and mix it well
  • Knead the dough as smooth as possible like tandoori roti dough very smooth
  • Add some oil over the dough and set aside for 20 min at least


For Filling

  • Take boil grate potatoes from very finest side of the grater
  • Add very fine chop onion, green chilli, coriander ginger garlic paste, salt, red chilli powder
  • Mix all the ingredients and make very smooth paste

For Paratha

  • Take dough ball approx. 40 to 50 gm stretch slightly using hand
  • Dip hand in water and make ball of potato mixer approx. 60-70 gm 
         Tips: because of water, potatoes mixture is not stick in your hand
  • Cover the mixture of potatoes with dough and make a ball

  • Apply some flour and roll with rolling pin

  • Turn on the flame and cook paratha with one side for 2 min, flip paratha apply oil turn again the paratha then apply some more oil on another side.

  • Cook paratha both the sides till golden brown

  • Serve hot with butter, masala curd, mint chutney etc.
